UF MBA establishes new home in South Florida

Gainesville, Fla. – The UF MBA program has put its stamp on the South Florida landscape with the opening of its new executive classroom suite in Sunrise. The UF MBA program has offered its professional MBA program in South Florida since 2004, but due to the high demand for the program—based on UF’s reputation as a Top 50 MBA program—the classroom facility was quickly outgrown. Last summer, plans were made to create an executive classroom suite exclusively for the South Florida MBA, built to program specifications, and a five-year lease was signed.

“Our new executive classroom facility enables us to support the incredible growth we have seen with our Professional MBA program in South Florida over the past two years. We now have a beautiful and permanent South Florida home for our nationally recognized program, which will allow us to maximize our presence and strengthen the UFMBA brand in the region,” said Alex Sevilla, assistant dean and UF MBA Programs director.

The new 6,100-square-foot suite is now in operation, and offers a combination of superb classroom technology in a quiet learning environment, including two state-of-the art classrooms, a large lobby and reception area, as well as office space. The SFMBA facility is located in the Sawgrass Park of Commerce (off NW 136th Avenue, approximately one half-mile north of I-595).
