Lutz named Sherwin-Williams Distinguished Teacher
Gainesville, Fla. – Richard Lutz, JCPenney Professor of Marketing, was named one of three recipients of the 2008 Sherwin-Williams Distinguished Teaching Award. The award, now in its 11th year, will be presented by the Society for Marketing Advances (SMA) at its Annual Conference in St. Petersburg November 4 – 9, 2008. The annual award honors marketing educators for significant contributions to the quality of marketing education. The selection process for the SMA award begins in the spring of each year when business schools from around the globe are invited to nominate one marketing professor for consideration (only 14 were nominated this year). Finalists will make a presentation to a panel of distinguished judges at the SMA Annual Conference.
