Christopher (BS 2007, MS 2010, MBA 2010) was recently named Director of Programs & Learning for the Florida Philanthropic Network in Tampa. He previously served as Executive Director of the Nonprofit Center of North Central Florida in Gainesville.

Brad Casey (MBA ’12) | June 2014

Brad (MBA 2012) was named the Managing Director of Tampa’s Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in February. Brad says this position “has been my dream job since I was 12, and the combination of my arts management experience and MBA education was the perfect background for this role.”

Sandra Johnson (MBA ’13) | June 2014

Sandra (MBA 2013) recently joined the Tampa Bay chapter of Project Management Institute, the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for project, program and portfolio management professionals. She is a project manager at the Department of Veterans Affairs where she conducts projects spanning 43 hospitals across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Stephanie (BSBA 2014) graduated from UF in May, and has been named a CIO Advisory Associate at KPMG’s Tampa office. Says Stephanie: “I had the best experience during my four years as a Business Gator. Now it’s time to rock the real world!”

The Suncoasters of St. Petersburg named Skipp (BSBA 1962) the 2014 “Mr. Sun.” The honor recognizes outstanding individuals who through their community service, leadership and dedication have had a significant impact on the city and its citizens.

Michael L. Kohner (BSAc ’84, MAcc ’86) | May 2014

Michael (BSAc 1984, MAcc 1986), Managing Director of WTAS LLC in West Palm Beach, Fla., was recently honored with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County Distinguished Alumni Award. This award was created to honor distinguished former students who are noted in their field of endeavor and recognized for their expertise and community service.

Mike Schuette (MBA ’11) | May 2014

JPMorgan Chase named Mike (MBA 2011) 2013’s “Top Private Banker in Chicago.” He was also a Presidents Club Recipient, which is awarded to the firm’s top 25 private bankers (out of more than 23,000), for the second consecutive year. Mike says he had a great experience at UF MBA and is “bleeding Orange and Blue in Chicago!”

Alberto Macia (BSBA ’80, JD ’83) | May 2014

Alberto (BSBA 1980, JD 1983) recently joined John R. Wood Properties in Naples, Fla., as a licensed real estate agent. He previously worked as an attorney, and as an agent for Engel & Volkers. Alberto is a member of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS (NABOR) and is an active member of the Florida Bar.

Daniel Blumberg (BSBA ’97) | May 2014

Daniel (BSBA 1997) has published his first book, “Harmonizer.” The science fiction work is the first in a five-part series. Daniel is also the co-founder of AEROPICS.US, an aerial photography, and videography company that launched last month.

Jeff Roman (MBA ’12) | May 2014

Jeff (MBA 2012), the National Director of Engineering at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in Charlotte, N.C., was recently named to Building Design + Construction magazine’s “40 Under 40 Class of 2014.” Jeff is active in Little’s business planning and manages a staff of 20 MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and structural engineers.
