Adam Silverman

Silverman (BSBA 1992) recently opened law firm Silverman Schermer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Silverman Schermer focuses its practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, wealth preservation and estate planning.

Silverman is a transactional lawyer with expertise in a wide range of corporate law and governance matters, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, reorganizations, joint ventures, business combinations, complex contract drafting and negotiation, and federal income taxation. 

Specializing in middle market mergers and acquisitions, his experience is extensive on both buy- and sell-side transactions. Silverman is also highly skilled in negotiating industry-specific production, distribution and importing agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, restrictive covenants and executive compensation agreements.
