Barbara Higgins (MBA ’97) | August 2017

Higgins (MBA 1997) was named the Chief Customer Officer at Duke Energy. She will lead the newly created Customer Experience Transformation Organization, devoted to transforming how customers experience and interact with the company. Higgins will be responsible for designing end-to-end strategies for measurement, valuation and enhancing the customer experience for residential, business and commercial customers. Previously, Higgins served as chief customer officer for Allstate Insurance Company, vice president for customer experience at United Airlines, and in various executive positions at The Walt Disney Company for 19 years.
