Bill Werther Jr. (BSBA ’68, MA ’69, Ph.D. ’71) | July 2016

Bill (Phi Beta Kappa, 1971) was an NDEA Title IV Fellow in Economics and Business Administration. Retired from the University of Miami this past May, Werther (BSBA 1968, MA 1969, Ph.D. 1971) had held the Friedman Chair in Executive Management and the Office Depot Management Scholar Professorship, was founding co-director of the UM Center for Non Profit Management, authored more than 100 scholarly articles and a score of books/revisions, and advised more than 100 organizations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
