Bruce Brandes

Brandes (BSBA 1988) is Executive in Residence at AVIA. In addition, he is Partner at Pivot Health Advisors. A career-long member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Brandes also currently serves on the Board of Advisors at several innovative companies and mentors future leaders as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.

Brandes has over 25 years of experience in executive management and thought leadership delivering innovative technologies and services in healthcare.

Previously, Brandes was founder and CEO of Lucro, a digital platform that re-invents the connection between healthcare buyers and sellers for complex, collaborative vendor selections, which he sold in 2018. He also served as managing director for Martin Ventures, executive vice president at Valence Health, and helped pioneer the introduction and widespread adoption of mobility in healthcare as chief strategy officer at AirStrip. Earlier in his career, Brandes held senior positions at organizations including HealthStream, Eclipsys (sold to Allscripts), ESI (sold to McKesson) and IBM.
