Cesar, along with his brothers, Arturo (BA 1970, JD 1972) and Carlos (BA 1972), received the Gran Caimán Award from the UF Association of Hispanic Alumni during the organization’s annual Gator Guayabera Guateque. The Gran Caimán Award is given annually to outstanding members of UF’s Hispanic alumni community who are both great representatives of UF, as well as strong contributors to the educational, cultural or social communities in which they participate, or persons who have contributed to UF in a meaningful way to benefit Hispanic students or the Hispanic community. Cesar is the immediate past CEO and Executive Chairman, and current Co-Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, one of the nation’s largest law firms, and works from the firm’s Miami office.
