Chris Pernicano (MBA ’93) | June 2025

Pernicano was reappointed to the North Broward Hospital District by Governor Ron DeSantis. Pernicano is the Chief Technology Officer for Synergist Technology, LLC. Previously, he served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pernicano Enterprises, Inc. and the Vice President of Engineering and Information Technology for Netsmart. A recipient of the 2020 GATOR100 Award, Pernicano earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, his master’s degree in environmental engineering, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
