Corinne Turcotte (BSAc, MAcc ’11) | November 2020
Turcotte (BSAc 2011, MAcc 2011) has been named Partner at James Moore & Company. Turcotte, CPA, has been a member of the firm for nearly ten years. She focuses on nonprofit organizations, addressing their taxation issues and providing audit, assurance, and accounting and controllership services.
Based in James Moore’s Gainesville office, she is one of the leaders of the firm’s Nonprofit Services Team and is a certified member of the Not‐For‐Profit section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Turcotte has been instrumental in the advancement of the nonprofit segment at James Moore. Through her leadership with the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) process and her guidance on ideas and strategies, she has helped James Moore’s nonprofit clients survive the COVID‐19 impact. She has also become the firm’s go‐to expert on uniform guidance single audits and led the charge into new geographical markets.
Turcotte’s dedication to nonprofit causes goes well beyond the work she does with the firm. She has been involved with Catholic Charities for years; she currently serves as Treasurer for the organization’s Gainesville region and is on the diocesan board. She’s also involved with United Way Emerging Leaders (and has been a Reading Pal with the organization) and is currently a mentor with Take Stock in Children.
