Pierce (MAcc 1979), CPA, one of two remaining founders of Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT), celebrated the firm’s 30th anniversary last December. Headquartered in Gainesville, ECT has 21 offices in 10 states. Pierce is quite proud of the reputation ECT has established with their many clients and is especially grateful for the talented professionals who work there. Pierce and her partners set up an ESOP for their employees, so the company will continue on as employee-owned.
