Loren Parra

Parra (MBA 2017) is the Director of the George Barley Water Prize, a $10 million science prize, and the largest of its kind, from The Everglades Foundation. The program catalyzes innovation to develop technologies that remove phosphorus from water, the root cause of unsightly and dangerous algal blooms. Based in Miami, Florida, Parra hopes to keep building bridges between science, technology, business, and innovation to improve the health of Florida’s ecosystem and beyond.
