Silva (BSAc 1990, MAcc 1994, JD 1994) is partner at McDermott Will & Emery. The office recently expanded its Miami Tax and Private Client presence with a six-member team including Silva. 

Silva advises on international tax law, focusing on US investment structures, cross-border tax issues, tax treaty planning, withholding obligations of US real property investments and US activities of foreign banks. He has significant experience advising on the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act in respect of third-party reporting obligations by global financial entities. Silva also maintains a private client practice, representing high-net-worth family offices based around the world.
