Traci Pumo

Pumo (BSAc 2000, MAcc 2000, JD 2003, LLM 2004) was recently promoted to Tax Partner at BDO. She is a member of the firm’s Private Client Services practice. She provides a unique, multidisciplinary approach to ensure clients achieve their family wealth, tax and personal financial planning goals. Her clients include family offices, multinational families, executives and closely-held business entrepreneurs. Pumo advises clients regarding cross-border estate and gift planning, the sale of closely held business interests and wealth transfer planning. 

Pumo has had the opportunity to speak before the Florida Institute of CPAs, the Palm Beach Chapter of YPO, and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. In addition, Pumo has been quoted in the New York Times and US News and World Report on tax reform and income tax planning.​

Prior to joining BDO, Pumo led the local Private Client Services practice of a “Big 4” accounting firm. Her experience also includes serving as General Counsel to a family office and practicing law in her own boutique law firm that focused on providing tax, trust, and estate planning services to high-net-worth individuals and closely-held family businesses.
