Bono’s research receiving attention

Dr. Joyce Bono’s research regarding employee stress and health and positive work environments has received considerable attention since its appearance in the December 2013 issue of the Academy of Management Journal.

The study, “Building Positive Resources: Effects of Positive Events and Positive Reflection on Work Stress and Health,” has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, the Huffington Post, Harvard Business Review and O (Oprah) Magazine.

Among the major findings Dr. Bono and her co-researchers established were that “naturally occurring positive work events and a positive reflection intervention are associated with reduced stress and improved health.”
