Tim Judge elected to AOM Board of Governors
Gainesville, Fla. – Professor Timothy A. Judge, McKethan–Matherly Eminent Scholar of Management, has been elected to serve on the Academy of Management’s Board of Governors. The board is a nine-person governing body having legal and fiduciary accountability for the Academy of Management (AOM). The board’s primary responsibility is setting the direction and policy development of the Academy of Management.
Founded in 1936 by two professors, the Academy of Management is the oldest and largest scholarly management association in the world, and is the professional home for 17,556 members in 104 countries. It is divided into 24 divisions and interest groups, governed by their own elected officers, which carry out much of the association’s work.
Judge’s five-year term will begin with the December 2008 Board meeting.
