What’s the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act for EVs?

Policymakers are trying to facilitate the expansion of electric vehicles as part of efforts to nudge the public towards cleaner energy. The Inflation Reduction Act, signed into law by U.S. President Joe Biden earlier this month, is one of those efforts. Public Utility Research Center Director of Energy Studies Ted Kury shares insights for this video segment from The Point on the impact of the Act in EV markets as well as the environment.
