Fisher School cracks Public Accounting Report’s top 10 list

Gainesville, Fla. – The University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting was ranked the #10 graduate program in the US in the 26th Annual Professor’s Survey published by Public Accounting Report magazine. UF moved up three spots from 2006 and, among U.S. public schools, is ranked #7 for its master’s program. Fisher’s doctoral program also appeared in this year’s survey for the first time, coming in at #23.

Rankings in PAR’s survey are obtained through peer evaluation, with faculty, department heads and chairs naming the programs that they feel most consistently produce students with partner potential.

Gary McGill, director of the School, said that he is “pleased to see that our peers around the country recognize the talents and hard work of our students, faculty, and staff.”
