U.S. News lists Warrington among top 20 public business programs

The Warrington College of Business Administration is ranked among the nation’s Top 20 Public Business Programs in the 2008 U.S.News & World Report survey of America’s Best Colleges. Coming in at #27 overall, UF’s business programs made a strong showing in specialty categories as well. Five UF specialty areas are ranked in the Top 10 among U.S. public schools. The rankings, released on August 17, are based on U.S. News surveys sent to deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by AACSB International. Schools offering any courses in a specialty area are eligible to be ranked, and the schools receiving the most mentions in each appear. Here are some of the survey highlights:

  • Tied for #27
  • Among Publics: Tied for #17

Accounting ranking:

  • Overall: #15
  • Among Publics: #10

Finance ranking:

  • Overall: Tied for #18
  • Among Publics: Tied for #10

Management ranking:

  • Overall: Tied for #20
  • Among Publics: Tied for #15

Marketing ranking:

  • Overall: #8
  • Among Publics: #6

Production/Operations Management ranking:

  • Overall: #15
  • Among Publics: #12

Quantitative analysis ranking:

  • Overall: Tied for #10
  • Among Publics: Tied for #6

Real estate ranking:

  • Overall: Tied for #8
