Warrington faculty among best in Financial Times Global MBA rankings

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The faculty at the Warrington College of Business Administration tied for eighth in research and finished 18th in doctoral rank among U.S. public universities in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2011.

UF MBA was ranked 22nd overall among U.S. public universities.

According to the Financial Times’ methodology, the faculty research rank is determined by calculating the number of papers written by faculty in 45 academic journals over the past three years. Schools are awarded points based on the number of papers published, and its score is weighted for faculty size.

Warrington’s overall research rank was 27th in the world and 59th in doctoral rank.
