García (MBA 2016) joined UBS Wealth Management as a financial advisor in South Florida.
García joins advisor team VPHN Wealth Partners at UBS, which is led by UBS Private Wealth Advisors Melissa Van Putten-Henderson and Doris Neyra. The Private Wealth team joined UBS in 2021 from Wells Fargo Private Bank.
Prior to joining UBS, García was a Senior Investment Manager at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he managed more than $500 million in client assets, building investment portfolios and enduring relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients to help them pursue their wealth management goals. Previously, he also worked at BNY Mellon, where he gained additional expertise in customized client solutions and wealth management. García earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida International University’s Honors College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
García currently serves on the Executive Committee for Florida International University’s “Young Alumni” program and Christopher Columbus High School’s Alumni Association. He is a past member of LINC Miami, benefiting the United Way of Miami-Dade, and serves as a mentor within several other organizations. García resides in Miami with his wife, Melissa, and enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
