Garcia (BS 1994, MEd 1997, MBA 2005) was appointed as national Director of Program Innovation & Effectiveness at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, located in Tampa, FL, in 2020.
He previously served for 10 years as CEO at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Puget Sound (Seattle) and the Big Bend (Tallahassee), after almost 5 years as COO/Director in Albuquerque, NM. In his role, he combines servant leadership and community philanthropy with the business and marketing skills received at UF.
