Dr. Horwitz (BSBA 1975) and his coin investigators were recently awarded a seeded grant from the Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU to study the relationship of authentic leadership and organizational outcomes in the gig economy. This study expands on prior research results to enhance the effectiveness of leadership and the future of work. Horwitz and colleagues are also studying authentic leadership and followers with invisible disabilities to further advance the field of leadership.
Horwitz is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University and a realtor with Keller Williams Realty in Palm Beach Gardens.
