Jones (BS 2004, MBA 2008) was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Gloo, the leading technology platform dedicated to connecting the faith ecosystem and releasing its collective might.
Jones brings more than 20 years of experience serving as a preacher, business executive and entrepreneur. She currently serves as the chief content and partnerships officer at YouVersion, the creator of the Bible app. Jones leads the team that shapes digital discipleship journeys in the Bible App, which has over 600MM installs and is used by almost 10 million people around the world every day. Her past corporate leadership includes serving as the head of global faith partnerships at Meta, chief external affairs officer for a multi-state school for at-risk girls and public policy director for a multi-service utility company.
Currently, Jones serves on the board of Christianity Today Magazine and the University of Florida Digital Advisory Council. Jones’s civic engagement includes The Links, Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida, and she has completed graduate studies at the Harvard Law School Program on negotiation. She and her husband, Tim, lead Open Door Church in Gainesville, Florida.
