Steven Morrison (BSAc 1999, MARE 2001), CPA recently chaired the AICPA Auditing Standards Board (ASB) task force that drafted SAS 132, “The Auditor’s Consideration of an Entity’s Ability to Continue as a Going Concern.” SAS 132 addresses an auditor’s responsibilities for consideration of an entity’s ability to continue as a going concern and meet its obligations as they come due in the next year. Morrison is an audit principal at MBAF CPA based in Miami, Florida and a member of the ASB.
