Nathan S. Collier completes five-part lecture series for UF Bergstrom Center

Nathan S. Collier (BSBA ’74, MBA ’78), founder and Chairman of the Collier Companies, completed a five-part lecture series for the Master of Science Real Estate case studies course.

“It is my pleasure to work with the brightest and best real estate students in the country,” Collier said.

Collier used personal examples in the lecture series to stress his philosophy of maintaining main street values, respect, and honoring the marketplace. The forum was designed to study the importance of emotional intelligence and steward leadership, along with examples of lessons learned from real life case studies from current real estate projects in which Mr. Collier is invested.

Collier, along with the Collier Companies, also hosted a reception in his skybox at Ben Hill Griffin stadium on July 24 where students talked one-on-one with high-level executives and government officials including State Rep. Keith Perry (R).

The UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies supports the UF real estate courses and degree programs housed within the Warrington College of Business Administration.
