Q: Tell us about yourself.

Levine: “My name is Kyle and I’m from St. Petersburg, Florida. I recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance, and I’m currently in my last semester before earning a Master of International Business degree. I was a part of many impactful organizations at UF, including BUMP, HLC and SAE Fraternity. It was leadership positions in Product Space and TAMID that helped solidify my career goals in product management, which is a role that I will be pursuing at a fintech company that I have been interning with for the past two years. Lastly, I play tennis and continue to play about every day just like I have since high school.”

Q: Why did you enroll in the MIB combination degree program?

Levine: “It was really easy to make the decision to become a MIB combination program student. Taking courses that double-counted for my undergraduate and graduate degrees allow me to not only earn a master’s in three semesters, but also save money on my education. Along with the program being a time and cost saver, the curriculum is relevant to my career pursuits working alongside global merchants in the fintech industry. I’m very excited to earn the title of double gator in August.”

Q: Tell us about your experience studying abroad.

Levine: “I recently spent Summer A of ‘24 studying in Lyon, France. I earned elective credit at Emlyon Business School alongside students from all over the world pursuing their own graduate degrees. Traveling Europe before courses began and taking weekend trips with new friends provided me with the ultimate abroad experience. As the world capital of gastronomy, Lyon offers cuisines unlike anything I’ve tasted which, alongside the beautiful historic city, I will return to experience again.”

Q: What are your professional career plans after graduation?

Levine: “InComm Payments delivers innovative payment technology solutions and is a company I have interned with since summer of ‘22. I’ve explored roles in financial services and IT and have learned an incredible amount about fintech operations from different lenses. I will be continuing my time as a product manager for InComm InCentives and attribute my success to the education I received at UF.”

Q: Any advice you’d offer to incoming students?

Levine: “Warrington provides so many beneficial resources for its students. Use them! Schedule meetings with Andrea and Ana as they are always willing to provide guidance and answer your questions. Explore HIREWarrington to its fullest. Run through your resume with a GCAP, practice interviewing with a career coach and navigate job openings that companies want a Gator to occupy.”

Q: What do you wish you’d known before starting the MIB combination degree program?

Levine: “Definitely start your research early and decide when you wish to end the program. If you’re leaving Gainesville after the spring semester, beginning the MIB program the preceding spring is advisable. I highly recommend studying abroad, too, so find a program early on that is best suited for you and don’t wait for your last MIB semester to take the trip.”

Q: Tell us a cool fact about yourself.

Levine: “I write movie reviews on Letterboxd. I spent a lot of time watching movies during the pandemic and wanted to track the films I saw chronologically, rate them and review them for others to read. This social platform is a unique way to enhance the movie experience by documenting your thoughts about it even after you exit the theater. Thank you to my 10 followers that have been with me since the start.”
