Hough graduate programs featured prominently in global rankings

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Hough Graduate School of Business had nine of its programs rank in the top 20 among U.S. public universities, including seven placing in the top 10, in Eduniversal’s Best Masters Rankings 2012/2013.

Eduniversal divided the 30 graduate programs it measured into two parts: Sixteen specialized majors were included in Eduniversal’s Global Ranking and the other 14 programs were ranked by regions.

The Thomas S. Johnson Master of Science in Entrepreneurship Program (MSE) was ranked 30th in the world. The MSE Program was eighth among U.S. universities and third among U.S. publics.

The impressive ranking by Eduniversal is another honor for the MSE Program this academic year. Earlier this month, the MSE Program was awarded the 2013 United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) National Model Graduate Entrepreneurship Program award, and, in October 2012, the MSE Program received the 2012 “Excellence in Specialty Entrepreneurship Education” award from the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC).

The other Hough programs to finish in the top 10 among U.S. publics were: Master of Science in Management (fourth), Master of Arts in International Business (fourth), Master of Accounting (ninth), Master of Science in Marketing (ninth), Master of Arts in Economics (10th) and Full-time MBA (10th).
