As an alumnus of the University of Florida, you’re likely familiar with the iconic Mr. Two Bits cheer, shouting it with 90,000 other Gators in The Swamp on a Saturday in the fall. On February 18, 2021, we encourage you to bring that same excitement alongside your fellow Gators to Stand Up & Holler for Warrington.
Stand Up & Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day is a 24-hour giving day that calls on all University of Florida alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to come together to support UF and all of its areas of positive impact in our state, nation and world.
On this day, we encourage you to show your support for the Warrington College of Business by making a gift to the Warrington Excellence Fund. Gifts of any size are welcome. What’s most important is that with your gift, you become a part of the massive show of support for your alma mater.
With your gift, you can help Warrington complete challenges from the Business Gator community. Every 200 gifts to Warrington unlock $10,000 from the Throne family, who will give up to $50,000, and a gift of $25,000 from Emeritus Professor Dr. Irvin Gleim will be unlocked when Warrington reaches 500 gifts.
Your gift provides more than financial support for Warrington. Gifts from alumni who completed their bachelor’s degree at Warrington help drive UF’s ranking on the list of top public schools in the nation, as undergraduate giving participation is an important metric used by U.S. News & World Report in its measure of best universities.
