Wilson (BSBA 2004) was recently named chief executive officer of Georgetown Community Hospital in Georgetown, Kentucky. Wilson will serve as LifePoint’s Central Kentucky market president with operational oversight of Bluegrass Community Hospital, Bourbon Community Hospital and Clark Regional Medical Center. Wilson will begin his new role on June 6.
Previously, Wilson was CEO of Southern Tennessee Regional Health System’s (STRHS) Winchester and Sewanee campuses. He previously served as chief operating officer and ethics and compliance office at the hospital since April 2017. In addition to his role as COO, Wilson also served as interim CEO of the STRHS-Lawrenceburg campus from November 2018 to March 2019.
A long-time leader within LifePoint Health, Wilson served in several roles at Rockdale Medical Center, a former LifePoint facility in Conyers, Georgia, prior to his time at STRHS, including as assistant administrator, senior director, physician services, group practice administrator and regional director.
Before that, he was director of professional recruitment and development for Southeastern Integrated Medical, PL in Gainesville, Florida and market manager for HCA Physician Services in Gainesville, Florida.
