Patrick M. Dempsey | BSBA ’79 | 1957-2022 | Dempsey, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed on August 15. Upon graduating from UF with a degree in accounting, he was awarded the Four Year Outstanding Scholar award as the top student of his graduating class. Dempsey also enjoyed great success after graduating, going on to become a financial executive at several large corporations, including Motorola and Fiserv. In his free time, Dempsey loved to travel, visiting and even living in many places such as Germany, Hong Kong and the Arctic Circle in Alaska.

Justin H. Stokes | BABA ’05 | 1982-2022 | Stokes, of Pensacola, Florida, passed on August 16. He graduated from UF with a degree in business administration and a minor in computer information services. He also became a member of the Theta Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in 2001. Stokes is fondly remembered for his love of gospel music and the time he devoted to his family and friends.
