In Memoriam | September 2023

Alex P. Digges, II | BSBA ’71 | 1949-2023 | Digges, of DeBary, Florida, passed on September 2. He was a proud graduate of the University of Florida, remaining a fan of the Gators. The majority of his career was spent in the insurance industry. He was devoted to his family, especially his wife of 40 years, Leah, and his children and grandchildren.

Thomas D. Bryant | BSBA ’78 | 1956-2023 | Bryant, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed on August 28. After graduating from the University of Florida, he spent his 33-year career at the Internal Revenue Service. Outside of work, he was involved in several organizations, including the Scottish Rite, where he was recognized as a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Janet Felletter | BSBA ‘87, MBA ’94 | 1966-2023 | Felletter, of Tampa, Florida, passed on September 7. She married a fellow Gator after receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and, after a few years in Germany with her husband on his military tour, they both returned to Florida to complete graduate degrees. After graduation, she began her career with IBM, where she managed over 300 people across several continents. She also enjoyed volunteering with the company internationally and spending lots of time with her two children.
