MSMAR Student Spotlight: Jasper Schwartz
Jasper Schwartz is completing his Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Florida. After graduation, he will continue growing his business, SG Social Branding, a Gen-Z marketing agency.
Q: Please tell us about yourself.
Schwartz: “I am Jasper Schwartz from sunny Boca Raton, Florida, finishing up with my MSMAR degree at UF. I am a motivated student turned serial entrepreneur during my time at UF. I enjoy building businesses and providing value to people. Additionally, I enjoy golf, UFC, and NBA. I like watersports, golf carts, and being in the sun.”
Q: What was your undergraduate major, and why the MSMAR Program?
Schwartz: “My undergrad was business administration, and I chose to pursue the MSMAR program to further my knowledge, skills, and network within the marketing industry.”
Q: What is the best thing you like about the MSMAR program?
Schwartz: “I love collaborating with other MSMAR students in group projects because it allows me to build connections to keep in contact with and work alongside them in the real world.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation? How did the MSMAR program help you?
Schwartz: “I co-founded SG Social Branding, a Gen-Z marketing agency providing engaging short-form videos to be used by brands on their social media such as street interviews, authentic UGC, podcast clips, and more: https://www.sgsocialbranding.com/. We have been able to do work for some notable Fortune 500 companies! The MSMAR program helped me with understanding the concepts needed to move my business from step to step.”
Q: What is your advice to other students looking at the MSMAR program?
Schwartz: “My advice for other students looking at the MSMAR program is to trust your advisor with guiding your schedule and network with other students who are entering the program at the same time as you because you will be working with them in the classes.”
Q: Is there anything else you may want to add?
Schwartz: “Take risks. Be bold. Leave UF better than you found it. Break the norm.”
