UF MBA’s Executive Program ranked among nation’s best
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Executive Program at UF MBA at the Hough Graduate School of Business ranked 35th in the world in The Economist’s “Which MBA?” Executive MBA Rankings 2015.
Excluding joint programs, UF MBA ranked 22nd among all U.S. schools, and eighth among U.S. public programs.
While UF MBA’s Executive Program fared well in many categories, it was particularly impressive in Quality of Faculty, with an overall ranking of 19th. In that group’s subcategories, UF MBA ranked No. 1 in the world with 100 percent of its full-time faculty possessing a Ph.D, and 20th in both Rating of Faculty by Students (4.71 out of 5), and Student Rating of Teaching Quality (4.73 out of 5).
The Executive Program was also a leader in salary increase. UF MBA was 17th in the world in salary increase for alumni after two years (52.7%) and 20th in salary increase upon graduation (26.4%).
The Economist used two web-based questionnaires to generate its rankings. The first questionnaire was sent to eligible business schools requesting quantitative data such as student, faculty and program details. The second questionnaire surveyed current Executive MBA students and alumni of the programs from the past three graduating classes. Approximately 7,000 questionnaires were completed.
Programs were then ranked on two broad measures: Personal Development/Educational Experience (50 percent) and Career Development (50%). For Personal Development/Educational Experience, programs were equally ranked in four categories: Quality of Students, Student Diversity, Quality of Faculty and Program Quality. For Career Development, programs were ranked on Salary (55%), Career Progression (30%) and Networking (15%).
