Graduating Student Spotlight: Taylor Anderson
Taylor Anderson graduates this semester from the combination MS Marketing program. After graduation, he plans to continue his work as a photographer on his way to larger marketing roles.
Q: Why did you decide to pursue this degree?
Anderson: “I always knew I wanted to do a graduate degree in business. I looked at the list of specialized degree options and marketing aligned with me the most. I love exploring consumer behavior and understanding why a brand can influence someone and vice versa. Also, at the end of the day, if you optimized starting the combination graduate program very early it only takes one semester to get your master’s. It’s partially a big ‘why not’ moment!”
Q: What is the best kept secret of the program?
Anderson: “The resources! Once you go from undergrad to grad at Warrington, an entire new array of resources are available to you. From the more advanced career counseling facilities, Warrington is the ideal place to complete your graduate business degree.”
Q: What’s next for you?
Anderson: “I currently work at the Warrington Marketing and Communications Department as a photographer, so I’m going to continue that part-time. I’m also going to continue growing my personal digital media business where I freelance senior shoots, company photos, local events, concerts, real estate and more. I am applying to some larger companies that interest me, but until one of those works out I’m going to continue what I’m doing right here.”
