Q: Tell us about your background.

Tagliabue: “I completed my bachelor’s degree of health services at Florida Atlantic University. Prior to that I completed my associate degree of applied sciences online at American Military University. I currently live in Boca Raton, Florida but consider my hometown to be Jacksonville, North Carolina. I spend most of my downtime exercising, reading and hitting the beach.

Q: Why did you join the MSM program?

Tagliabue: “I joined the MSM program to expand my knowledge and experience as a business professional. I felt that this program could broaden my opportunities and competencies as well as provide me with the tools to succeed in any business environment.

Q: What do you enjoy the most in the MSM program?

Tagliabue: “What I enjoy the most about this program is the practicality of the courses and program in general. A lot of it is more than just learning concepts. I’ve been able to apply much of the content and case studies to real world scenarios.”

Q: What advice do you have for undergraduate students who are thinking of doing the MSM program?

Tagliabue: “If the business world is multidimensional and dynamic, shouldn’t you mirror that as a businessperson? This program provides a great opportunity to expose you to a huge variety of fields and roles to broaden your scope of expertise – something you may not get with other programs.”

Q: Tell us about your service in the military.

Tagliabue: “I was a Navy Corpsman attached to a Marine Corps Infantry Unit for the entire duration of my service. Corpsmen are the medical personnel within the Navy – I was one of those fortunate enough to serve alongside Grunts for my 5-year span.”

Q: Tell us 3 cool things about you.

Tagliabue: “I’m expecting my first child right around the time I’m expecting to graduate from the MSM program. He’s one of my biggest motivators to succeed. I grew up in a military family. Both of my parents and my brother served in the Marine Corps.”
