The Financial Engineer ranks MSF program No. 2 among publics

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Hough Graduate School of Business’s Master of Science in Finance program (The William R. Hough Program) was ranked No. 2 among U.S. public programs in The Financial Engineer’s 2015 Master of Finance Rankings.

The MSF program ranked No. 8 overall, and was the highest-ranked finance program in the state of Florida.

The Financial Engineer measured six criteria—Mean GMAT Scores (30 percent), Mean Starting Salary and Bonus (25%), Mean Undergraduate GPA (15%), Acceptance Rate (15%), Full-Time Graduates Employed at Graduation (10%) and Full-Time Graduates Employed Three Months After Graduation (5%). A program’s score was its weighted average of each of the components.

The MSF program enjoyed another banner year in 2014. Ninety-five percent of the Class of 2014 analyst candidates secured employment at graduation. Among the firms these graduates secured positions at were Barclays, Citigroup, Evercore, J.P. Morgan, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wells Fargo.
