UF MBA Executive program among Poets & Quants’ top 15 publics

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – UF MBA earned another top ranking among its program formats, this time for its Executive MBA. On Poets & Quants’ latest list of the best Executive MBAs in the nation, UF MBA was named the No. 12 program among publics.

“It’s fantastic to see our Executive MBA program earn another top ranking,” said John Gresley, Assistant Dean and Director of UF MBA. “We’re proud to be able to offer a range of program formats that are considered among the best according to the global program rankings. This is especially significant for our experienced and emerging business leaders as they seek to continue building their skills for a post-pandemic world.”

Out of the 58 schools Poets & Quants ranked on its 2021 Ranking of U.S. Executive MBAs, UF MBA is the No. 23 program overall.

To create its list of the best Executive MBA programs in the U.S., Poets & Quants considered three major Executive MBA rankings from U.S. News & World Report, Financial Times, and The Economist. Each publication ranking was weighted equally.

Overall, the UF MBA Executive program’s index came to 49 based on the following UF MBA rankings:

  • U.S. News & World Report – No. 26 overall
  • The Economist – No. 34 overall
  • Financial Times – The UF MBA Executive program is intentionally designed with a smaller cohort size as to facilitate a robust connection among students and faculty. With its smaller cohorts, UF MBA’s Executive program doesn’t meet the minimum size requirements to participate in Financial Times’ ranking, therefore it is not ranked by the Financial Times.

For Executive MBA graduate Christopher Orange (MBA ’21), the program’s ROI, faculty quality and education application drew him to become a Business Gator.

“As far as juice for the squeeze, I could find the exact same thing as I would at UVA, Duke, UNC, Miami for basically half the money,” he said of UF MBA. “I looked at the quality of the faculty, and it was fantastic. I took business communication, and I could succinctly write better. In finance, I was able to look at things and have a better perspective.”
