Report: Average pay can’t buy the median home in Marion, Alachua counties
According to a new report from ATTOM Data Solutions, a group that tracks property data from the United States, the average wage earner in Alachua and Marion counties could not afford to purchase a mid-priced home. In Alachua County, the report shows that housing costs are higher than the national average and have increased by 2 percent since last June.
