Warrington faculty ranked in top 5 in per capita research productivity among publics

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida Warrington College of Business faculty ranked 4th in per faculty research productivity among U.S. public business schools and 9th among business schools in North America in the University of Colorado – Boulder Per Capita Business Journal Rankings.

Overall, Warrington’s faculty ranked 11th in the world and 5th in the world among public institutions.

The rankings, collected by the University of Colorado – Boulder Leeds School of Business, cover the per-capita productivity of business schools at 24 leading journals covered by the University of Texas at Dallas Top 100 Business School Research Rankings from 2015-2018.

Last year, Warrington’s marketing department ranked 4th in per capita research productivity among public institutions on the UT-Dallas Top 100 Business School Research Rankings. In previous years, the Department of Marketing was home to the College’s top four scholars in research productivity from 2011-2015 based on the UT-Dallas rankings. These faculty members include Russell Berrie Foundation Eminent Scholar Dr. Chris Janiszewski, JCPenney Eminent Scholar Dr. Jinhong Xie, John I. Williams Jr. Professor Dr. Aner Sela and JCPenney Professor Dr. Woochoel Shin.

The UT-Dallas Top 100 Business School Research Rankings is based a database that contains titles and author affiliations of papers published in leading business journals since 1990.
