UF MBA Executive Program ranked among top 25 in North America
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Executive MBA program at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business was ranked among the top 25 programs in North America on the 2019 QS Global EMBA Rankings.
Out of 59 executive MBA programs in North America, the UF MBA Executive program was ranked No. 24, up five places from No. 29 in 2018.
The UF MBA Executive program was also ranked among global programs. Out of 134 programs, UF MBA rose to the No. 62 spot, up three places from No. 65 last year.
QS determines its Global EMBA Rankings from five key data points: academic reputation (25 percent), career outcomes (20 percent), diversity (10 percent), employer reputation (30 percent) and executive profile (15 percent). UF MBA ranked in the top 25 in the following categories among North American programs:
- Executive Profile – No. 6 with 86.7 points
- Academic Reputation – No. 24 with 60.4 points
- Employer Reputation – No. 25 with 64 points
When compared among other global and North American Executive MBA programs, UF MBA students had an above average amount of work, managerial and C-suite experience. UF MBA Executive students had an average of 16.5 years of work experience overall, an average 10.2 years of managerial work experience and 33 percent with C-suite experience, making UF MBA Executive students some of the most experienced and senior individuals in executive MBA programs across North America and the world.
For those students not already in C-suite or top managerial positions at their respective companies, many were able to secure a promotion after completing the UF MBA Executive program. QS reports that UF MBA has an above average promotion rate, with an estimated 54.7 percent of UF MBA Executive students receiving promotions after completing the program.
