Financial Times: UF MBA Online best in class for student experience and outcomes
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With a number of online graduate business programs available in today’s pandemic-influenced world, UF MBA has proven itself a best choice among degree-seekers for its focus on excellence in the student experience and outcomes. Notably, the UF MBA Online program is No. 1 internationally for program delivery, online interaction, and career services, according to the Financial Times’ 2022 Online MBA ranking released Monday.
“With the pandemic came a surge of new options for earning a graduate degree online,” said John Gresley, Assistant Dean and Director of UF MBA. “In a sea of options, we’re honored to be recognized among the best programs by Financial Times and our graduates in terms of both learning environments and student experience. Even as times continue to change, we’re committed to providing students with the best online MBA experience.”
These rankings, which are formulated based on alumni survey results, give insight into the UF MBA Online program beyond its established excellence in academics. In addition to its top rankings for program delivery and online interaction, which are measured by alumni rating of things like live teaching sessions, online exams, interactions with classmates and availability of faculty, the UF MBA Online program leads all ranked schools on Financial Times’ list for overall satisfaction, with a rating of 9.63 out of possible 10.
The student experience in the UF MBA Online program goes beyond the virtual classroom. The UF MBA Online program’s No. 1 ranking for career services highlights its focus on assisting students in achieving their career goals. In fact, graduates of the UF MBA Online program reported an average salary increase of 31% after completing the program.
Overall, graduates of the online program at the University of Florida indicated that the program helped them fulfill their goals for doing an online MBA. Of alumni surveyed, 81% reported their aims were achieved, the highest level of satisfaction among all ranked programs internationally on Financial Times’ ranking.
Overall, UF MBA is the No. 2 program among U.S. schools and the No. 5 program internationally, rising from its No. 3 and No. 6 rankings last year, respectively.
Publications like U.S. News & World Report have also noted UF MBA’s distinction in the online space – both as an academic and student experience leader. On U.S. News’ 2022 “Best Online MBA Programs” ranking, the UF MBA Online program scored 90 out of a possible 100 points for student engagement, making it the fifth best public program. In addition, for the tenth consecutive year, UF MBA Online was among U.S. News’ top 5 programs in the nation.
The UF MBA Online program offers one year and two-year formats where all the coursework is delivered online without required campus visits. Students will still have the chance to experience all the University of Florida has to offer during one required campus visit for orientation and a variety of optional campus based experiential learning opportunities and co-curricular residencies.
