Poets & Quants: University of Florida Online MBA No. 10 in the nation

The University of Florida’s MBA program has been named among the best online MBA programs in the nation by Poets & Quants, a publication focused on business education reporting and insights.

Rising five spots on the list, the University of Florida Online MBA program is ranked No. 10 in the nation and No. 5 among U.S. public university programs.

The ranking from Poets & Quants is just one of the top rankings that the University of Florida Online MBA program has received this year. Bolstering the program’s long-standing reputation as one of the best programs in the U.S., the Online MBA program has also been ranked:

  • 6 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report
  • 9 in the nation by QS
  • 13 in the nation by The Princeton Review

Poets & Quants’ ranking of online MBA programs is based on three equally weighted categories – admissions standards, academic experience and career outcomes. While the admissions standards section is based on data collected from each school, academic experience and career outcomes are based on survey data from alumni of each program.

For Online MBA alumna Maja Lacevic (MBA ’24), the program’s excellent rankings drew her to the University of Florida. With her degree, she was promoted to Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Unified Women’s Healthcare.

“University of Florida is in a league of its own,” she said. “The program is as engaging and robust as any in person program. The University of Florida started an online program before online education was really a thing and that background influences the caliber of the experience. The faculty, resources, and experience that the University of Florida provides are unparalleled.”

With his Online MBA from the University of Florida, Daniel Rodriguez (MBA ’24) was able to put what he learned in the classroom to use immediately in his role as Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at USPA Global Licensing.

“My online education has been pivotal in transforming me into a more strategic leader within my current job,” he said. “I’ve honed my analytical and critical thinking abilities, empowering me to make informed decisions and devise effective strategies to tackle complex business challenges. Overall, it has enriched my knowledge and equipped me with the strategic mindset and leadership acumen necessary to drive innovation and success in my current role.”
