UF MBA remains in the top 10 for job placement

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – UF MBA at the Hough Graduate School of Business remained among the top MBA programs nationwide for job placement in Bloomberg Businessweek’s Best Business Schools 2017.

UF MBA ranked No. 10 among U.S. publics in the “Job Placement Rank” category, which measures the percentage of students who secured a full-time job within three months of graduation.

UF MBA was also recently ranked highly for its career services in The Economist’s “Which MBA” Full-Time Rankings. It was listed in the No. 1 spot in the “Open New Opportunities” category, which evaluates diversity of recruiters, job placement success and student assessment of career services. Students echoed this positive assessment, with their survey responses pushing UF MBA into the No. 1 spot in The Economist’s “Alumnus Rankings of Career Services” category.

UF MBA remained in the top 25 among U.S. publics in Bloomberg Businessweek’s annual best business schools list, coming in at No. 24. Overall, it ranked 48th.

Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of full-time MBA programs is based on five weighted categories: Employer survey (35%), alumni survey (30%), student survey (15%), job placement rate (10%), and starting salary (10%). Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked full-time MBA programs in the U.S. since 1988.
