University of Florida’s MBA among Fortune’s top programs
The University of Florida’s MBA program was recently recognized by Fortune for its superiority among graduate business degrees. According to Fortune’s Best MBA Programs for 2025, the University of Florida Warrington College of Business’s Full-Time MBA program is the No. 27 program in the nation and No. 9 MBA program among public universities.
The latest ranking from Fortune reaffirms that the University of Florida’s MBA program is among the premier choices for students seeking to maximize their growth potential with a remarkable return on investment.
To create its list of the Best MBA Programs, Fortune looked to several factors that they felt best gauge the ecosystem for prospective students. Salary (25%), Fortune 1000 score (20%) and employment placement rate (15%) make up the primary factors, followed by graduation rate (10%), median GMAT score (7%), acceptance rate (5%), retention rate (5%), total tuition (5%), undergraduate GPA (3%) and yield (3%).
With a tuition per year for out-of-state students of $30,130, the University of Florida’s MBA program is the top ranked program with the lowest tuition on Fortune’s list. Coupled with a $128,000 median base salary for new graduates, the MBA program also offers an excellent return on investment.
In fact, U.S. News & World Report ranked the University of Florida’s MBA program as the No. 4 program in the nation for ROI, citing its 4.6-to-1 salary-to-debt ratio for graduates earning $100,000-plus. Bloomberg also recently noted the University of Florida MBA program’s strong return on investment calculating its ROI at 17.6%, with graduates netting $655,049 over 10 years. With this ROI calculation, the University of Florida’s MBA is the seventh best in the nation for return on investment.
In addition to U.S. News and Bloomberg, Financial Times noted the exceptional value of an MBA from the University of Florida. In 2023, Financial Times named UF’s MBA the No. 2 program in the world for value for money, based on alumni salary, course length, tuition, other costs and lost income during the MBA. The MBA program was also ranked the No. 1 program in the nation for career services by Financial Times.
