Buchsbaum: “I am from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I graduated in Fall 2020 with an undergraduate degree in Finance and will be graduating this semester (spring 2021) with my Master of International Business degree.

I have been very involved in the Warrington College of Business throughout my college career, serving as an official ambassador to the business school as a Warrington Diplomat, aiding undergraduate business students as a Career & Peer (CAP) Mentor, and holding other leadership roles within various organizations in Warrington. Academically, I have also served as a teaching assistant for three business school courses, Course Coordinator for Principles of Marketing (MAR3023) and a tutor for student athletes for UF’s University Athletic Association.”

Q: Why did you join the combination MIB program?

Buchsbaum: “I joined the combination MIB program because I knew I wanted to work for a multinational company post-graduation. The MIB curriculum has provided me with unique coursework and experiences that have allowed me to develop my passion and knowledge of global business. I have had the opportunity use my new skillset throughout my internships, working with international teams, and look forward to continuing that in my full-time role!

Also, it is awesome to be able to graduate in four years with both my bachelor’s AND master’s degrees!”

Q: Any advice for current undergraduate students at the Warrington about the combination Master’s (MIB) program?

Buchsbaum: “Pursuing an MIB degree is a great option if you see yourself working for a company that does business internationally. Throughout the program, students gain insight into the varying cultures and ways of doing business across the globe. As our world is becoming increasingly interconnected, it is now more important than ever to gain a global perspective as our generation enters the workforce.”
