Bloomberg | Palihapitiya’s newest SPAC targets hot sectors in AI and crypto

Chamath Palihapitiya’s new special purpose acquisition company, American Exceptionalism Acquisition Corp. A, will look to merge with a company in the energy production, artificial intelligence, decentralized finance or defense industries. The focus on these areas is due to their current popularity, with Louis Camhi saying they are “currently in vogue” and Palihapitiya having previously invested in companies in these sectors.
