Autonomous-driving company Pony AI Inc.’s newly issued stock fell nearly 8% below its offering price of $13 a share Wednesday as the biggest initial public offering in months for a Chinese company began trading. The Pony AI offering potentially sets the stage for more Chinese technology companies to test U.S. public markets following years of more muted IPO activity that in part reflected political tensions between the U.S. and China.
