Trump-tied SPAC hits another snag as auditor abruptly resigns

A deal to take Donald Trump’s media company public is facing another major setback, putting into question whether it will ever get completed.

“It is still a question about whether the deal will ever make it to the finish line,” said Jay Ritter, Cordell Eminent Scholar. “This deal has one of the biggest potential upsides of any SPAC merger, but it has been snakebit from the start.”
