UF News | Is writing with AI at work undermining your credibility?

A new study of 1,100 professionals by Instructional Associate Professor Anthony Coman found that while AI tools make managers’ emails more professional, regular use of medium to high levels of AI assistance undermines employee trust in their managers. The research, published in the International Journal of Business Communication, reveals a critical paradox where improved message quality comes at the cost of perceived sender trustworthiness.
